Miss Cooper is already six months old (look back to find her birth, newborn, and three month sessions!). The weather is just beautiful today, so we took Cooper outside to show her off sitting in the grass. She wasn’t as happy about it as we had hoped (didn’t mind the grass, just wasn’t interested in pictures by this point), but we got some sweet shots. Cooper has gorgeous (big and blue!) eyes, the best “cabbage patch” hair, and a gummy… +1 new tooth.. smile! I can’t wait to see her again in just a few months for her nine month session. Based on the moving and shaking she was doing for this session.. I bet she’s crawling before I see her again!

Look here to see her three month size comparison here.. she’s growing fast!

Look at those bright, happy eyes!

This is Olivia, and she has had these adorably squishy cheeks from the moment she was born. She is the picture of the chubby, happy baby that everyone loves. Olivia’s big sister was a baby plan baby and now it’s Olivia’s turn. We tried to do a little bit of copying from some of big sister’s three month shots and we spent some time outside (wow, is it hot today!). Look here to see how much Olivia has grown in just a few short months! I can’t wait to see her next for six month pictures :)

Olivia in “her chair”.. we’re using this for scale each session.. and seriously, if you don’t love those baby rolls..

Big sister at 3 months (two years ago already!)..

Olivia’s version of the same shot.. she wasn’t as interested in this as we had hoped ;)

Big sister..

Happy First Birthday Baby A!! I just love this baby, and I can’t believe she’s already one! She had us laughing nearly the entire time I was at her house today. This was my fifth session with her (I’ll say it again, I can not believe she’s already one!), and her baby plan is now complete. It is amazing how fast that first year goes by. She was just as happy and laid back as she’s always been and we got lots of great shots! I had no idea how to pick for the blog– they are all just adorable.. so here are a few in a set of many. :) Enjoy!

Can you find the baby? I love how she still looks so tiny in her room.. even if she is a big one year old now..

Search back to find her “chair pictures” from her previous sessions.. she wasn’t as willing to sit still for this round ;) We got some of her sweet face, but I love this one of her hiding from us.

This is Cooper. Cooper’s Mom is very funny, as you can tell from Cooper’s face in the first picture! I love the way babies laugh at their parents :) Cooper is three months old now (search back a couple of months to find her birth and newborn pictures) and she could not be cuter. Three months can be a hard age for pictures.. not really curly or sleepy and not yet sitting up. However, I think it’s just as important to get three month pictures as it is any other time in a babies first year. It is the beginning of the “baby” faces, the end of the super tiny legs and feet, and the beginning of the adorable chubby cheeks and the amazed eyes as they are starting to take in the world. This is the time when they really start to develop a personality, and I can’t imagine missing it!

Look at the way she crosses her little legs- she was born crossing them like that and still does! We had to get a shot of this for Mom to remember by.. so girly!

I have become friends with many of my clients (and have many clients that were friends first!), which is exactly the way I want things to be. I’m not a pushy person at all, and I want my clients to trust that I have their best interests in mind. I have been taking pictures of these adorable kids for years (former baby plan baby + some years!), and I have literally watched them grow up. I love catching up with their great Mom during their sessions, and I love these two monkeys. I could post lots more from our session this afternoon (great day for outdoor pictures!), but I am so tired.. this will have to be the sneak peek for now. Aren’t they just the cutest?!

Meet beautiful Olivia. Her parents and big sister (and lots of other people!) have been waiting to meet her and she’s finally here! She was born just over a week ago, and I went to their house this afternoon for Olivia’s newborn session. This was the first session of her baby plan. Olivia’s big sister was a baby plan baby, and I’m so glad to be going back to their house again regularly for pictures. Don’t you just love her sweet, chubby cheeks? She was such a good girl too.. just perfect!

Mom with her two sweet girls- doesn’t she look amazing?!

I love these details.. the peely newborn skin and tiny fingernails..

Look at those cheeks.. and her little lips!

Another sweet baby plan baby, all grown up! Luke’s first birthday party was this afternoon, and I am so glad that I was able to attend! The weather was miserable, but that didn’t stop Luke’s family and friends from celebrating his first year. He grinned and smiled and grinned some more. He left his party hat on. He wasn’t afraid of the crowd. He loved his birthday cake. He’s still the same happy, laid back baby little boy! :) Happy Birthday Luke! I have enjoyed watching you grow up over the last year and hope to see you for many more.

One of my baby plan “graduates” is going to be a big sister in a couple of months, so I went to their house this morning to document this last time for them as a family of three. They are great- laid back and photogenic… and can you believe how great Mom looks!? I’m looking forward to meeting the new baby sister Olivia and starting her baby plan soon!

I just adore this baby! I say it at each of her sessions, but my goodness she is the happiest baby ever! We had her nine month session over the weekend and she showed me some new tricks she has been working on. You’ll have to go back in the Baby Plan archives to compare her chair picture to the previous two– she sure has grown! I can’t believe we only have one more session left before we complete her first year! That first year just flies by..

Little baby Luke is already 9 months old! I went to his house this morning to document this time in his life and we were able to get some great shots. Luke read a story with Daddy, showed me his impressive sitting (and the beginning of some STANDING!), and he even showed me his love for his jumpy! Check out his teeth in that smiley jumping picture! We also had fun incorporating some Christmas into his 9 month session. He loved the lights and the ornaments on the tree- his parents are going to have so much fun with him this Christmas! Enjoy your 1st Christmas baby Luke, and I’ll see you again in just a few months for your first birthday session!
