Everybody loves a happy baby– and let’s just go ahead and say that everybody loves this baby! Look at that sweet grin and those big blue eyes.. and of course, the legs! Her Mom likes bows and headbands and well, I only have boys so smocked dresses and bows to match are such a fun change of scenery. Thanks for showing off your cute smile baby J!

I love visiting with old clients and this family is no exception. I’ve taken pictures of their beautiful girl since she was a baby, but haven’t seen them in awhile as they are in and out of town frequently. I was so glad to get to see them and catch up yesterday. Their beautiful toddler is now a beautiful girl- a beautiful girl that loves the camera, I might add! She made my job easy and was rewarded with a nice glass of hot chocolate- I just love the light and her expression in the last picture where she is warming up in the sun with the hot chocolate.

What a fun weekend- I had another newborn session this morning! I got to feed Miss Cooper a bottle and hold her until she fell asleep.. it was a perfect “baby fix” for me :) Cooper showed us her beautiful eyes for part of her session and then slept soundly for the other part, a total win win. I have another picture I want to add to these, but my dinner and husband are waiting downstairs and I know Cooper’s parents are waiting to see these. I’ll add the last one tomorrow. For now, enjoy the tiny, curly newborn sweetness of little Cooper.

Today was a busy day! I headed to baby N’s house this afternoon for her newborn session. She was just born last week and is absolutely beautiful. I love her mop of hair and gorgeous blue eyes. Speaking of her eyes, she stayed awake and content through her entire session- very surprising for such a young baby. Congrats again Mom and Dad- your daughter is perfect! Welcome to the world sweet baby.

One of my baby plan “graduates” is going to be a big sister in a couple of months, so I went to their house this morning to document this last time for them as a family of three. They are great- laid back and photogenic… and can you believe how great Mom looks!? I’m looking forward to meeting the new baby sister Olivia and starting her baby plan soon!

I introduced my son to his pockets this morning. The possibilities were endless. As you can see, putting things in and out of his pockets required a high level of concentration, but the satisfaction was great. I wasn’t able to catch a shot showing his delight, as I was too busy clapping and celebrating with him. We also played with his car too, but this was second to the pocket fun.

I had a lot of fun with the Photo Love contest. I loved seeing all of my clients commenting on the pictures and seeing all of the votes from your family and friends! Thank you for playing along- I”ll do it again soon (differently though.. different idea, different prize!). I counted up the votes this morning and the Ball family is the big winner! They will receive a free 11×14 mounted print and a session! Way to you guys! The Hills and the Claybrooks will receive an 8×10 print of their image for coming in second and third place! Congrats! :)

To everyone, your children are beautiful and I’m lucky to know you. Check in frequently for new contests and promotions (and of course, to see pictures!).

A few posts back, I posted maternity images for a client and said that I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of their baby. Today I had the honor of photographing baby Cooper on her birth day. She entered the world this morning just before lunch time and is just beautiful. I love the head full of dark hair .. apparently her Daddy was worried that she wouldn’t have any hair! Cooper will have a more formal newborn session when she is home from the hospital.. so check back soon for some more of her. Congrats to Mom and Dad on the birth of your daughter and welcome to the world sweet baby!

*It was so difficult to pick which pictures to post– I love details.. the last shot of her tiny little hand..

I just adore this baby! I say it at each of her sessions, but my goodness she is the happiest baby ever! We had her nine month session over the weekend and she showed me some new tricks she has been working on. You’ll have to go back in the Baby Plan archives to compare her chair picture to the previous two– she sure has grown! I can’t believe we only have one more session left before we complete her first year! That first year just flies by..

This squishy guy was an absolute dream to photograph! He was welcomed into the world on Monday morning and we had his newborn session today, Thursday… so he is brand new and absolutely adorable. I’ve said it again and again, but I love baby wrinkles! This was a perfect age for pictures- he curled himself up and slept while I snapped away.. thanks again for having me out Mom & Dad and congrats on your newest son!
