Cooper’s Mom ordered a 5×7 spiral bound album from her birth session. This is a great option for when you just have to have every single image from your session. I have noticed that the majority of my clients order a few big prints, several wall prints, and a 4×6 or 5×7 of nearly all of the images from their session. I wanted to be able to provide a more economical way to have a small copy of each image from the session, and I think this is it. The albums are obviously spiral bound and each image has a white border around it. These are not an alternative to wall prints or anything you would be able to frame. Cooper’s Mom bought the album including every image from her birth session, several wall prints to frame in their home, a few prints to share with family, and a huge 20×20 print for Cooper’s room- the proofing album allowed her to have them all and still afford to invest in some beautiful art for her walls.

Please Note, I am not a product photographer ;)

We met at the park yesterday afternoon for Kaneil and Andrew’s engagement session. The weather was beautiful and our “just before sunset” session allowed to use the sun for some gorgeous golden light. Kaneil and Andrew couldn’t have been better subjects- they were so friendly and up for anything. I know they will be wonderful to work in just a few short months when it is time to photograph their beautiful wedding!

Newborns are always so unpredictable- half of them will sleep through the session and the other half want to see everything that is going on. This handsome guy was sleeping when I arrived and he was sleeping when I finished. I saw his eyes open for just a few seconds and that was it. He let us move him, curl him, and pose him without complaint.. he was truly the adorable, tiny, ever so good newborn that makes you think that someday.. maybe.. you might like another of your own ;) Welcome to the world Baby I- you are just perfect!

Another sweet baby plan baby, all grown up! Luke’s first birthday party was this afternoon, and I am so glad that I was able to attend! The weather was miserable, but that didn’t stop Luke’s family and friends from celebrating his first year. He grinned and smiled and grinned some more. He left his party hat on. He wasn’t afraid of the crowd. He loved his birthday cake. He’s still the same happy, laid back baby little boy! :) Happy Birthday Luke! I have enjoyed watching you grow up over the last year and hope to see you for many more.

This has been on my “to do” list for ages- I can never seem to remember to mention anything about gift certificates. I’ve sold numerous gift certificates by inquiry, but haven’t ever “advertised” them.. so I’m finally giving them the blog space they deserve. Gift certificates make great gifts- Mother’s Day, Birthday Gifts, Easter gift for Mom, and the most popular use, New Baby/Baby Shower Gifts. I can get one in the mail to you (or the recipient, it’s your choice) year round and for any amount that you desire (in increments of $25).

To promote the sale of gift certificates this month, I am offering a 20% bonus on any gift certificates purchased in March. For example, you pay $100 for a gift certificate worth $120.

Marina and Will

March 14, 2010

I received an e-mail yesterday from a client. I won’t try to retell the situation; I will just copy her e-mail below. I’m sure your votes will be much appreciated!

As many of you may know, my sister Marina, and her fiance,Will have had a tough start to the New Year. After getting engaged, Will was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. With the wedding plans postponed, we are hoping to help them get their spirits back up and their wedding back on track with this…

Crate and Barrel is having a contest to win the Ultimate Wedding. Marina and Will are registered and need as many votes as possible to make it to the next round in the last two weeks of voting.

In such an emotional time, this contest has been therapeutic for Marina and Will to get their minds off cancer and focus on the happier days ahead.

If you could kindly log in to the link below, place your vote and forward to your contacts, we would greatly appreciate it!! It just takes a minute to vote and doesn’t require anything but an e-mail address.
