I have another pretty newborn to share– and look at that head full of hair! She even has gorgeous long eyelashes to match her stunning head of dark hair. I’m on a roll with “good newborns” this week.. I’ve had two now that gave me some sleeping time and some awake time and both stayed pretty content throughout the entire session. I can’t ask for much more than that! It wasn’t long ago that I did maternity pictures for this couple, and I was so excited to meet their daughter. She didn’t disappoint- perfect in every way. Congrats again Mom and Dad!
When I arrived, this is what I saw.. bright eyed and hanging out in her Daddy’s lap:
I love the “before” and “after” comparison in this chair.. hard to believe there were just a few weeks between each image!

I have the best job. I just returned from a wonderful vacation to Vermont (thank you to everyone for your patience with scheduling, etc. while I was gone!), and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect face for my first session after returning home. This sweet girl is just under two weeks old and she was a dream. She slept for a bit at the beginning of our session, and finished it off wide awake and content! You can’t ask for much more than that. Welcome to the world Baby M – you are just perfect!
I love tiny newborns in their cribs.. it makes a great scale image.
Look at that eye contact! She found her Mom, and she wasn’t going to take her eyes off of her!

It wasn’t too long ago that I took maternity pictures for this gorgeous mom. Baby Nora is just over a week old now, and she showed me a perfect newborn session this afternoon. Seriously, she has beautiful skin, she smiles in her sleep, she slept like an angel- letting me move her all around, and she’s 9+ pounds of squishy, newborn perfection. I was so excited to come home and see the images on the big screen.. I’m having a hard time deciding which ones to share, but I know her Mom and Dad are waiting to see.. Welcome to the world Nora!
I took a picture of her hand (you know, because I love those tiny details) and when I opened up the shot.. look at her little lips. She was sleeping, not crying at all.. dreaming perhaps?

I had the pleasure of meeting these two beautiful girls this morning for a newborn session. Big sister is just adorable and little sister is a tiny five day old peanut. Big sister helped me go through my things while little sister ate, ate, and ate some more 
She was a hungry girl with no time for photos! We did well though- our patience paid off. Aren’t they just perfect?
I love this one.. how sweet of her at the age of two.. to try to comfort her brand new sister.
I snapped this one of big sister while Mom was in the other room feeding the baby.. we were playing with her balloon..
I love her tiny, peely, newborn hands.

This is Wyler, and he’s brand new. Isn’t he precious? His Mom was so sweet- she let me hold him for a bit and oh my goodness.. he really is cute enough to make you want another of your own! He wasn’t sure he wanted to sleep for me, but he nursed enough to change his mind and we were good to go Welcome to the world sweet boy- it was so great to meet you and your family today!

Meet beautiful Olivia. Her parents and big sister (and lots of other people!) have been waiting to meet her and she’s finally here! She was born just over a week ago, and I went to their house this afternoon for Olivia’s newborn session. This was the first session of her baby plan. Olivia’s big sister was a baby plan baby, and I’m so glad to be going back to their house again regularly for pictures. Don’t you just love her sweet, chubby cheeks? She was such a good girl too.. just perfect!

I photographed baby I– by himself– a couple of weeks ago. We had to divide his newborn session into two so that we could get some pictures with his family, but we also needed to get those sleepy curly newborn pictures while he was still.. well, sleepy and curly I went back for the family pictures this morning, and I was amazed to see how much he’s grown in just a couple of weeks. He has some super cute cheeks, he’s lost a little of his newborn hair, and he was so alert! His big brother could not be any more adorable- funny, sweet, and look at that smile! This is so sweet.. look at his little two year old self “shhhhh-ing” his crying brother.. I love it.

I love these mini accordion albums, and I am so excited to offer them to my clients! When closed (see first picture), the are 3 inches x 3 inches. This means they fit perfectly in your purse, desk drawer, in the storage area of your car- a wonderful way to show off your recent family pictures. The album consists of a front and a back which are held together magnetically. When pulled apart, the accordion design unfolds revealing two full sides displaying your images. The images are printed on linen paper. The album looks great displayed standing up- a great addition to your framed desk prints!

Newborns are always so unpredictable- half of them will sleep through the session and the other half want to see everything that is going on. This handsome guy was sleeping when I arrived and he was sleeping when I finished. I saw his eyes open for just a few seconds and that was it. He let us move him, curl him, and pose him without complaint.. he was truly the adorable, tiny, ever so good newborn that makes you think that someday.. maybe.. you might like another of your own Welcome to the world Baby I- you are just perfect!

What a fun weekend- I had another newborn session this morning! I got to feed Miss Cooper a bottle and hold her until she fell asleep.. it was a perfect “baby fix” for me Cooper showed us her beautiful eyes for part of her session and then slept soundly for the other part, a total win win. I have another picture I want to add to these, but my dinner and husband are waiting downstairs and I know Cooper’s parents are waiting to see these. I’ll add the last one tomorrow. For now, enjoy the tiny, curly newborn sweetness of little Cooper.
